Privacy policy

Tukka operates Meeting Cost at meeting-cost.tukka.dev. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the site. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email contact[at]tukka[dot]dev.

1. What you type. There are no accounts. The people, pay, currency and assumptions you enter stay in your browser, and the cost is worked out there. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.
2. The page address. Your settings are kept in the page address after the # sign, so a reload or a saved link keeps them. Browsers never send that part of an address to any server. If you send the address to someone, they will see the same numbers.
3. Browser storage. Your browser's local storage keeps one random ID for analytics. It is not tied to your name or your device. Clearing the site's data removes it.
4. Analytics. Our own analytics counts visits using that random ID, the page visited (never the part after the # sign), the referring site, the country worked out from your IP address, and your browser, operating system and device type. These records are kept for 40 days and then deleted. The IP address itself is not stored. There are no ads and no third-party trackers.
5. Sharing. The Share button hands its text to the app you pick, or copies it to your clipboard. It never includes your settings, and nothing goes to us.
6. Service providers. Our server is hosted in France. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, and may process network information to do so, including in other countries. We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to deal with abuse.
7. Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or complain to your data protection authority. Since we keep almost nothing, there is usually nothing to hand over.
8. Changes. We'll update this page and its date when anything here changes. This policy covers Meeting Cost only.
